All RAW Pressery’s products are 100% natural and free of artificial additives such as sugar, preservatives, concentrates, nectars and flavours. According the founder, RAW Pressery’s juice blends are the safest packaged beverages in the market, produced with cold press technology and packaged with high pressure processing. Founded by Anuj Rakyan, the company aims to offer consumers a convenient way of boosting their health on-the-go.The brand has 26 cold pressed juice variants that are available across major retailers, e-commerce firms like Big Basket & Amazon Now, coffee chains, restaurants, hotels, airports and hospitals in 10 cities.
Going global quickly: The company has recently expanded into the Middle East and its products are now available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Fujairah and Qatar. The company’s investors include Sequoia Capital, SAAMA Capital & DSG Consumer Partners and till date, it has raised over US $7 million in total.
The early days: RAW Pressery was born in June 2013 in Anuj’s kitchen, when he apparently made the first glass of juice using a Norwalk cold press juicer. In Dec 2013, he started home delivering the juices to early customers in Mumbai using the famous Dabawallas. The company first forayed into retail in April 2014, when it signed on Food hall & Godrej Nature’s Basket. In November 2014, Sequoia came on-board as an investor.
