The company built a global company out of India as it serves brands in five countries – Indonesia, South Africa, Japan, Thailand and India. The company helps brands in measurement & optimization of TV advertising using statistical algorithms and has developed a patent to track TV ads using video fingerprinting

Founder: Hitesh Chawla

Started in 2013, it raised US $2.5 million in June 2015 from IDG Ventures, 500 Startups, M&S Partners, Unilazer, and currently employs 90.

Differentiation & Innovation in Implementation

The company provides patented cross-device mapping solutions that help understand user behaviour by using the data points generated by multiple devices into a unique mapping ID.  This provides accurate insights into user behavior, thus helping big brands measure RoI based on the number of social and search conversations happening during the TVC’s time stamp. Traditionally, advertisers do media planning on metrics like reach and target audience. Silver Push enables them to measure online traffic, not only to their website but by tracking tweets and installs as well, competitors’ TV strategy and comparing across TV and digital, etc. It synchronizes TV and mobile advertisements transmission to happen at the same time.

The company has 150 clients in India across industries such as FMCG, classifieds and e-commerce domains, and includes conglomerates such Google and Nestle. SilverPush plans to expand internationally and enable buying TVC slots through its platform.

The company suffered a loss last year due to demonetization and change in investment scenario but aims to achieve 2x growth revenue this year.
