The New ‘Smart CEO’

The New ‘Smart CEO’

Welcome to the January 2018 edition of Smart CEO. Our regular readers would have noticed the new logo on the magazine’s cover. Recently, we also launched our new website (www.smartceo.co) and revamped our brand image to mark the beginning of a new and improved version of the magazine. Also, borrowing a page from the early days of Facebook, we dropped the “the” in the magazine’s name and we are now just Smart CEO!

While we’re not yet ready to reveal our entire game plan, I will use this space to give you a peek into our strategy. Broadly, our mindset remains the same; We’re very excited about being the platform for knowledge sharing by CEOs, leaders and entrepreneurs. We’ll continue to collaborate with CxOs to create world-class content that’ll inform, inspire and have a catalyzing effect on the business ecosystem at large. What we plan to change revolves around our new mission to design our content with a reader-first approach. Over the next few months, you’ll begin to experience how our packaging, design and presentation techniques will deliver a superior reading experience, while not compromising on sharing deep insights.

On the business side, we’ve also charted out a clear product mix with separate Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to deliver on digital, print, live events, and our topical channels on SmartCEO.co. In addition to our media play, we’re launching a book publishing division focused on CEO-authored books as well as scaling our content marketing services business that currently services some of India’s best known brands.

Another big announcement is the launch of our Content Entrepreneur Program, a structured 6-to-12 month engagement with an entrepreneur-partner to deliver a content-based business media asset in partnership with our brand. The first brand is slated to launch in the first quarter of next fiscal and is called Family Inc. by Smart CEO, an omni-channel platform to capture insights from 50 of India’s most well-known family business owners.

Stay tuned to SmartCEO.co for more announcements from us. Until next edition, Happy Reading.
