Illumio’s micro-segmentation technology works independently of the enterprise’s underlying infrastructure, and stops threats from spreading into data or cloud
Andrew Rubin and PJ Kirner founded California-based Illumio in 2013. The company’s adaptive micro segmentation technology stops threats from spreading inside a data or cloud. The technology works independently of the enterprise’s underlying infrastructure, thus allowing applications to seamlessly move between environments and locations, and allowing users to work seamlessly between their data center and public clouds.
Illumio has so far raised US $267.5 million across four rounds, and some of its clients include Oracle, Morgan Stanley, Salesforce, BNP Praibas, JP Morgan and the like.
